The History of the Winery

The history of the Winery dates back to the 18th century – 250 years ago grapes were already being grown in the Landmann vineyards.
Even in Roman times, 2000 years ago, grapes were being grown in the Tuniberg region. Mr. Landmann senior took over his parents’ winery in the 50´s – his wife was the first wine princess of Baden (her picture can be seen here on the right).

Then in 1995, namely 13 years ago, Jürgen Landmann took over the winery from his parents. He had just qualified and were convinced that he could produce a high quality wine by combining this traditional knowledge and expertise with his passion for quality and excellence.
