The White wines of the Winery Landmann

Jürgen Landmann has travelled far and wide in order to study above average vine varieties for the winery.
In New Zeeland, no less, he found the magnificent Sauvignon Blanc vine, which he immediately, together with his brother, set about cultivating in the Baden land.

Nevertheless, other popular vine varieties were not lost out of sight: the Chardonnay also placed its call. And it too felt at home in the deep-set, limestone and warm earth.
The warm days combined with the cool nights ensure that it retains its full splendour – just like the Burgundy wines which have been cultivated here since the Roman times.
